About

Ever since I was young, I've been captivated by aesthetics. After completing a degree in Fashion Marketing, I ventured into the marketing world, working in the fast-paced fashion industry in London, as well as with Visit Cornwall, the local tourist board.

In 2018, I realized that I wanted greater autonomy over my work and clients. Initially, I offered marketing and social media support to tourism and hospitality businesses, however, the pandemic-induced lockdown caused me to lose 90% of my clientele, which prompted me to explore my creative side.

To keep my creativity flowing, I purchased a camera but quickly discovered that using a professional camera required more than just a "point and click" approach. I spent most of the lockdown honing my skills by watching YouTube videos and taking photos during my Cornwall adventures, hoping to develop my personal photography style. Check out my Cornwall Blog, Meet Me by the Sea here.

As the lockdown eased, my photography business took off. To me, photography isn't just about capturing a scene - it's about weaving a narrative and eliciting emotions, collaborating with clients to achieve the desired vision.

In recent years, I’ve had involvement in the food and hospitality industry (through friends and family) which has opened my eyes to the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, which has profoundly influenced my work. I hope that people who view my photos can appreciate that it's not just a simple plate of food, as exemplified by the image at the top, which is from a feature we collaborated on for Drift Magazine.

In May 2023 I was awarded the Cornwall 30 Under 30 award, an initiative that recognises young, successful people in business.
